In this 4 week class dog and guardian will learn to be a team to enjoy walks in the neighborhood, park or farmer’s market. Each team will use positive reinforcement methods and tools such as harness, martingale collars, and flat-buckle collars with traditional leashes.
The teams will learn how early intervention is the key to success through:
- reading body language
- learning triggers
- delivering of the treats
The team will use games such as:
- nose touch
- auto check-ins
- click-to-calm
- cookie tosses
